My pieces are made to capture different tastes. Each piece is unique. The influence in my work comes from my love of different cultures. Some pieces have a Western influence, African, Carribbean, Asian, Hispanic and Indian influences. Again, there is something for everyone including men's pendants on leather! Zimbabwe: No doubt, this southern African country has its own share of problems, but it can still hold its head high within the art community through the growing popularity of Shona art, another name for its stone sculpture. Blessed with an abundance of stones, Zimbabwe is proud to show off its amazing stone sculpture, thanks to the talent of local artists. I travel to Zimbabwe every two to three years and I always bring back a piece of art. The pieces on my site were hand made for me by relatives or friends. I also included pottery, hand-woven baskets, fabric posters and masks. Of course, the items will change from to time as new shipment arrives.South Africa: This is my favorite place in the world. I visit South Africa every two to three years and along the way, I pick up a little bit of Zulu beadwork, which I included on this site. The local tribes have amazing talent in that their designs have no template or pattern to follow. Like most tribes in Africa, their skills are passed on from one generation to another. It's incredible! Shipping Details
